By car
DSM Kaiseraugst lies on the A3 motorway (Autobahn) between Basel and Zurich, approx. 13 km east of Basel.
- Leave the A3 at Exit 14 (Rheinfelden-West/Kaiseraugst).
- Follow signs to Kaiseraugst.
- The DSM site is approx. 1.5 km from Exit 14a on the left of the main road.
- Turn left at the first traffic lights
Vistors to HQ (Building 241): turn left immediately after traffic lights and park next to Building 241.
Visitors to research labs (Buildings 203, 205, 214, 221): follow signs to Roche visitors’ parking. Then follow pedestrian signs to main gate.
By train
The nearest railway stations are Rheinfelden (express and local trains) and Kaiseraugst (local trains only). You can come from Basel from the german main station or the swiss main station.

- Express trains to Frick-Basel leave every hour at xx:04, starting at 06:04. Change at Frick to local train S1 to Rheinfelden-Kaiseraugst-Basel.
- Change at Rheinfelden and take taxi to DSM Kaiseraugst, or
- change at Kaiseraugst to bus 84 to Rheinfelden.

- Express trains to Rheinfelden-Basel leave every hour at xx:36, starting at 06:36.
- Change at Rheinfelden and take taxi to DSM Kaiseraugst, or
- change to bus 84 to Kaiseraugst.

- Local trains S1 to Frick/Laufenburg leave every 30 min. at xx:20 and xx:50, starting at 06:50.
- Change at Kaiseraugst to bus 84 to Rheinfelden.
