The BSB European Innovation prize for cosmetics 2011 was awarded in Milano during the In-cosmetics exhibition. DSM Nutritional Products won the third prize with TILAMAR® Fix A1000, in the category functional raw materials.

TILAMAR® Fix A1000 is a styling polymer for extra strong hold with natural feel. Its uniqueness particularly for aerosol applications is based on an exceptional and proprietary monomer composition. An aerosol spray containing TILAMAR® Fix A1000 showed clearly a superior hold, a non-tacky feel on wet and dry hair as well as an excellent creation of style. These consumer benefits were backed up by the excellent fibre cross linking, a very short drying phase and a dry polymer film feel.
