DSM Nutritional Products has signed the investment contract with the Changchun Economic & Technology Development Zone to set up DSM's fourth feed premix plant in China and establish the DSM Vitamins (Changchun) Limited.

The new premix plant is to be located in Changchun Economic & Technology Zone, Changchun City, Jilin province. The construction of the plant will start in May 2009 and the total investment will amount to USD 5 million. The plant will be the forth feed premix plant of DSM Nutritional Products after its investment in three existing plants in Shanghai, Shandong Province and Hunnan Province. With the intention to be operational by end of 2009 at 25000 tones annual shift capacity, this plant is to provide feed premix to the farmers and feed manufacturers in Liaoning Province, Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Province and Inner Mongolia Province in North East China, therefore allows DSM to serve a larger geographical area in China and contribute to the development of animal health and food industry.
