DSM Nutritional Products’ organic ALPAFLOR® portfolio has received NATRUE certification. This well-known label, which indicates that products are natural and organic, complements the product range’s existing certification by ECOCERT®.
There is increasing demand from customers around the globe for Personal Care products that are not only natural and safe, but have also been formulated in a manner which is both organic and environmentally friendly. The unique ALPAFLOR® portfolio, offering bioactive ingredients derived from plants that are cultivated on an organic basis in the Swiss Alps, is one of DSM Nutritional Products’ innovative responses to this influential trend. Every product in the ALPAFLOR® portfolio has been created as part of an environmentally responsible process.

One of the many advantages of this certification is that it is fully recognized by USDA-accredited US entity Quality Assurance International (QAI) for the fast-track certification of products complying with both the NATRUE label and the US NSF/ANSI 305. In addition to the ALPAFLOR® portfolio, various other products in DSM Nutritional Products’ Skin Care and Sun Care portfolios benefit from ECOCERT® approval, which allows them to be used as natural ingredients within natural organic cosmetics. These include PENTAVITIN®, STIMU-TEX® AS, HYALURONIC ACID BT, REGU®-SEB and ERYTHRULOSE. NATRUE certification is already available for PENTAVITIN®, and other skin care ingredients will be registered soon.
