Citrique Belge is aware of the need of a social constituency for its production activities to ensure the continuity of its licence to operate.
Hence, our ambition not to burden the environment unnecessarily. One of the ways of achieving this, is by using environment-friendly production processes, complying with both the internal and external DSM legislation and regulation, making the lowest possible use of raw materials and energy sources and being a good neighbour for the local community.

We contact the authorities, our neighbours and our own staff to listen to their views and needs.
We are planning to create what is known as a sounding-board group. It will consist of representatives of neighbours and Citrique Belge. Within this group open debates will take place at regular intervals. We account for comment and criticism in setting our policy and action plans.
In this way we can build a sustainable future together.
