The company recognises that this entails important responsibilities.
As from 1991 DSM has been committed to the Responsible Care Programme as it was set down by the Association for European Chemical Industry (CEFIC).
Furthermore, Citrique applies clear and unambiguous rules of behaviour known as DSM Values.
These core values act as guidelines for making choices and taking decisions.
At the same time, they are used for testing the behaviour of both the company and the individual members of staff.
These Values are focused on three equal quantities, being People (staff), Planet (the human and natural environment) and Profit (profitability).
