Properties

Myo-inositol is a water-soluble, hydroxylated cyclic six-carbon compound (cis-1,2,3,5-trans-4,6-cyclohexanehexol). It is the only one of the nine possible stereoisomeric forms of cyclohexitol with biologic activity.
