Vitamin Safety

Studies with poultry indicate that these species can safely tolerate dietary levels four to 10 times their nutritional requirements of biotin (NRC, 1987). In some studies with poultry, detrimental effects with toxic levels of biotin resulted in lowered egg production and fertility.
