Poultry: Pantothenic Acid

Pantothenic acid is generally regarded as nontoxic. No data have been reported for pantothenic acid toxicity studies with poultry. It is clear, however, that dietary levels of at least 20 g pantothenic acid per kg (9.0 g per lb) can be tolerated by most species (NRC, 1987).
