Ruminants: Pantothenic Acid

Safety

Pantothenic acid is generally regarded as nontoxic. No data have been reported for pantothenic acid toxicity studies with ruminants. Dietary levels of at least 20 g of pantothenic acid per kg (9.0 g per lb) can be tolerated by most species (NRC, 1987).
