DSM Pharmaceuticals, Inc. a business unit of DSM Pharmaceutical Products has announced today Mr. Hans Engels has been appointed to the position of President and Business Unit Director of DSM Pharmaceuticals Inc.  

Hans Engels joined DSM in 2000, and most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer, DSM Pharmaceutical Products. During his eight years experience with DSM, Hans has also been the Chief Operating Officer and Site Director for DSM Pharmaceuticals Inc. Prior to joining DSM in 1999, Hans was the Vice President of Production and Engineering for Alpha Therapeutics and has held various Executive Leadership positions for Bayer AG.  Hans holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dusseldorf in Germany, and a Masters of Science and Ph. D in Chemical Engineering from the University of Aachen in Germany.
