DSM Composite Resins and BÜFA Reaktionsharze (BÜFA) have joined forces in gelcoats. Under a recently concluded agreement, gelcoat production will be concentrated in Rastede, Germany, in what will be the largest plant of its kind in Europe. The partnership also covers the joint development of new products, information exchange and joint technical support services. The partners are confident that by fully exploiting the expertise that exists within the companies' technical facilities in Germany, the UK, Italy and the Netherlands, they will achieve a leadership position based on advanced product technology and innovation. Their strategic goal is to develop a fully integrated approach to the entire gelcoat production chain.
