DSM Desotech, a global leader in the development of high-performance UV-curable materials, has received ISO-9001 certification for its China operation. This includes a sales office in Shanghai, as well as a local production facility: DSM Desotech Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai), Ltd. (DDSC).

As the world’s leading supplier of UV-curable coatings, inks and matrix resins to the optical fiber industry, DSM Desotech opened DDSC in 2005 in response to significant growth in the Asian optical fiber and cable market. The plant currently produces Cablelite® fiber optic inks for the Asia-Pacific region and is Desotech's fourth manufacturing facility to date to receive ISO 9001 certification.
