DSM Somos® once again exhibited at
EuroMold (Frankfurt am Main, November 29 to December 2nd 2006).
The new products we launched at this year’s EuroMold include:
NanoTool™: A high modulus, high HDT composite material with
excellent sidewall quality and enhanced processing speeds.
ProtoGen™O-XT 18120 and 18420: Two new highly accurate, stable
materials in translucent and white which mimic ABS properties including a HDT
of more than 100ºC.
ProtoCast™ AF: Targeted for the investment casting industry, for
use with both fused silica and alumina refractory shells, ProtoCast is a
completely antimony-free material which boasts extremely low ash-content.

Just for fun, we ran an on-stand competition focusing on the Somos
technology demonstrated at EuroMold.
