In recent statements to international media the firm Bladerunner has claimed to be selling so-called “bullet-proof hoodies" containing Dyneema®. Contrary to these claims, the material used by Bladerunner is NOT Dyneema®. DSM Dyneema does not support the products distributed by Bladerunner, nor has the company ever given Bladerunner permission to use its brand name. DSM Dyneema’s lawyers have served Bladerunner with a cease and desist letter to stop immediately any further unauthorized and misleading use of its brand name and trademark. Bladerunner currently is not nor will it be in the future a DSM Dyneema licensee.
