when licensor and licensee work together. This partnership creates more value
from intellectual property, speeding up and improving the development of an
innovation significantly.
In this spirit of mutually beneficial partnership, DSM grants other companies
licenses to use its own innovations, and also acquires licenses from outside.

temporarily, to enable the development of practical applications of a DSM
process, technology or patent in new fields or in new ways.
