Before the end of this year DSM Special Products Rotterdam will be launching new grades of benzoic acid and sodium benzoate. The main characteristics of the new products will be a very high degree of purity and outstanding flow properties.

DSM Special Products Rotterdam has the largest integrated production site in the world for benzoic acid, sodium benzoate, benzaldehyde and benzyl alcohol. By further improving the quality and service it offers its customers DSM expects to reinforce its position as the world's leading supplier.

Modernization

DSM recently drastically overhauled and modernized overall production capacity at its Rotterdam (Netherlands) site, thereby laying the foundation not only for the expansions referred to above but also for possible developments at the DSM Special Products production site at a later date.
