Premi®Test is an antibiotic residue screening test that detects antimicrobial
substances in fresh meat as well as in fish and eggs in a fast, reliable and
easy to use way.
To help you judge the results of the Premi®Test DSM has developed the
Premi®Scan.
This is an automated system for objectively
determining the color of the Premi®Test. The results are recorded
automatically.
The Premi®Scan software directs a flat bed color scanner which measures the
color of the Premi®Test ampoule after incubation. The color is expressed as a
so-called Z value. Based on this Z value the sample is classified as:

NEG: negative; the antimicrobial compounds are below the Premi®Test detection
limits.

POS: positive; the antimicrobial compounds are at or above the Premi®Test
detection limits.
This easy to use software determines the Premi®Test results in an objective
and time-saving way.
