The Premi®Test is a newly developed test for the detection of antibiotic
residues in fresh meat, fish and
eggs. Premi®Test is ideal for use 'on site':
-
Reliable result in less than 4 hours

This allows farmers, processors, slaughterhouses and retailers to effectively
remove unsuitable meat from the supply chain nearly immediately.
Medication of farm animals, whether administered by injection or through the
feed, will lead to residues in the muscle, kidney
or liver for a certain period of time. Growing concerns over consumption of
these residues have led to an increased demand for a reliable test to ensure
only wholesome meat enters the food chain.
Premi®Test is
extremely sensitive, and detects a large number of antibiotic residues in
meat,
fish,
eggs,
feed and
urine. These detection limits are at or below the maximum residue levels
set by the European Union. The screening test can be applied to a wide range
of antimicrobial substances. It is fast, sensitive, reliable, easy-to-use and
covers a broad spectrum. The new Premi®Test contributes substantially to
consumer safety with regards to food tested for antibiotics.
Premi®Test is a lot faster than existing testing methods: conventional
antibiotic residue tests require overnight incubation, but Premi®Test gives
you a reliable result in less than four hours.
