Trace analysis

At Resolve, trace analysis is defined as the identification and quantification of analytes at very low concentration levels (ppt – ppm range) in various samples (e.g. polymer, soil, air, waste water, urine, chemicals, etc).

We have good knowledge on sample preparation, in particular sample clean up and sample concentrating (e.g. large volume injection, SPME, etc), which is a very important aspect when performing trace analysis. The analysis of traces can be performed by gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and in case of (very) complex sample matrices, by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography - mass spectrometry (GCxGC-TOFMS).
