DSM’s Performance Materials R&D focuses on researching and developing high-quality, cost-efficient synthetic materials tailored to meet customers’ performance criteria in terms of specific structural and functional properties. R&D in this area also concentrates on the transition to specialty materials with a higher added value, such as bioterials, making use of knowledge and competences shared with DSM’s Nutrition and Pharma R&D.
