Morphology

SOLUPOR® membranes have a unique, very open structure, consisting of a micro-fibrillar and laminar network. One might call it a microporous non-woven. However, SOLUPOR® membranes are much thinner than non-wovens. SOLUPOR® membranes are the result of proprietary ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene film and fiber technology developed by DSM.
