Working as a teaml

Harry Pinxt of DSM in the Netherlands enthusiastically describes his dream: " Children are our future and their welfare is important for all of us. Happy children will develop into happy adults who still dare to dream and make these dreams come true. Many children in Elsloo in the south of the Netherlands see some of their dreams fulfilled at their weekly scout meetings. Scouting involves hiking, camping and building a campfire but also cooking, making things and playing games.

The scout troop’s building had to be improved to meet safety standards and needed better facilities. The exterior had to be painted and the interior redecorated.

Torch Elsloo

On 10 September 2005 the scouts were able to enjoy their summer festival in their new base. A team of scout leaders, parents and other volunteers had taken care of the job.
