Help mothers and children in slums

"I always thought that my dream would become true after my retirement because than I would have more time and some money. But now DSM is offering the opportunity to make this dream come true", Sandra said. Sandra would like to help poor families, mainly children and their mothers who live in slums.

Sandra intends to teach them how to have a better quality of life. She will teach women how to knit, embroider and crochet and their products can then be sold. She will also teach them how to separate recyclable material and sell it. Sandra will help children with their difficulties in school and will give them psychological support related to their problems with their parents. "I know that what I can do is not much, but I believe that if each person did a small job to help others, step by step the world would become a better place" Sandra added.
