Ton Ancion was delighted to hand over a movie projector and €950 to Wiel
Gerards of Youth Work in Landgraaf. Not only is Ton, a father of three, a DSM
employee but he also serves on Landgraaf council. Ton wanted to express his
thanks to the volunteers at the local youth association, Youth Work for their
efforts in entertaining local youngsters and from keeping them away from the
problems associated with hanging around on street corners. The local mayor,
Bert Janssen, alderman Miriam Clermonts and head of welfare, Hans Rijnders
were all present at the presentation ceremony.
