Arnitel® ECO to be launched at K 2010 

Following the successful introduction of EcoPaXX, a bio-based, high performance engineering plastic, DSM Engineering Plastics will be launching Arnitel® Eco at K 2010. Arnitel Eco is a high performance thermoplastic copolyester (TPC) with a 20%-50% content derived from renewable resources, depending on the hardness of the grade. The new material, which is already being sampled to selected customers, is specifically suited for applications in Consumer Electronics, Sports & Leisure and Automotive Interior.

Arnitel® TPC advantage for Ford Fiesta vacuum brake tubing

Ford has selected Arnitel TPC from DSM Engineering Plastics for the production of vacuum brake tubes for its recently launched new Ford Fiesta. In doing so, Ford has acknowledged the advantages of Arnitel for this specific application. Ford already uses Arnitel in similar applications in a number of its models: Ford Mondeo, Ford S-Max, Ford C-Max, Ford Galaxy and Ford Focus.
