Independent research on Brewers Clarex™

Professor Frank-Jϋrgen Methner, head of the Brewing science chair at the Technical University of Berlin, Germany compared the beer quality parameters of Brewers Clarex™ stabilised beers with those of powder-based stabilised beers. In his assessment he also shortened the cold stabilisation time of the Brewers Clarex™ stabilised beers .

Excellent Result

No differences were found between the beers brewed with Brewers Clarex and the powder-stabilised samples in terms of head retention, clarity or flavour stability. Also, significantly reducing the cold stabilisation time did not affect these quality parameters.

The Bottom Line: Brewers can significantly reduce the cold stabilisation process without affecting beer quality parameters such as colloidal stability, head retention and flavour stability.
