About InsuVital™

InsuVital™ consists of extensively hydrolysed casein, a protein which is present in milk. DSM has used a proprietary enzyme to cut (“hydrolyse”) the casein into smaller pieces, also called peptides. The mix of peptides (predominantly small peptides of 2 or 3 amino acids) form the active part of InsuVital™. These peptides can stimulate the secretion of insulin from the pancreas. Even in people suffering from type 2 diabetes.
