Benefits of lactase

Lactose-reduced products are best known for the lactose intolerance and easy digestion aspects. However, lactase has additional benefits. An example is a sweeter taste without extra calories. Glucose, which is one of the products formed when converting lactose to create low lactose products, is much sweeter than lactose.
