Better food quality

It is commonly known that broiler meat is a healthy and wholesome food. Chicken meat is low in fat and can be made extra nutritious by using OVN® in the bird diet. This additional OVN® claim is supported by scientific evidence showing that meat from animals reared with OVN® offer enhanced nutritional value and provide better food quality for consumers.

An investigation carried out with chickens (PDF: Mb 2.6) showed that the meat of birds fed on a diet containing an optimum level of vitamins has a higher quantity of some nutrients such as vitamins E, B1 and pantothenic acid. Such food can be considered to have a more balanced nutritional value.
