History

DSM Resolve has evolved from various departments within DSM Research, the research arm of the Dutch-based DSM group. DSM Research was founded in 1945 and its focus and scope evolved as DSM transformed itself from a coal-mining company into a chemicals and fertilizers company (in the 1960s and early 1970s), then into a petrochemicals and materials company (1970s and 1980s) and finally into a global specialty company active in nutritional and pharma ingredients, biomaterials, performance materials and industrial chemicals.

In 2010 a new era begins.
DSM Resolve, DSM Technical Services and DSM QESH are joining forces to offer a unique resource in technical problem-solving. The new competence center is called DSM RESOLVE - R&D Solutions. It provides a broad spectrum of high-end analytical, technical and safety services based on years of experience in the chemical arena.
