Injection molding

Many plastic parts receive their final shape using the injection molding process. This process can greatly influence the end properties of parts, such as their dimensions (shrinkage) andshape (warpage), as well as various physical properties, such as stiffness, strength, gloss, etc.

In our injection-molding laboratory, we have the capacity, capability and expertise to investigate every detail of this process. We can assess the behavior of customer-specific materials, for instance for mold trials on customer molds, etc. Besides investigations, we can also test different shapes of molding samples.  Many of these are suited to material characterization according to specific norms for the plastics industry.
