Swiss fencing

The partnership with the Swiss Fencing Federation was signed in Kaiseraugst (Switzerland) on 12 December 2007. Swiss Fencing's core values of accuracy, speed, elegance and concentration perfectly complement DSM's ambitions in the fields of sustainability and innovation.

During the Beijing 2008 Games Michael Kauter and Sophie Lamon competed in the men's and women's epée competition, respectively. Both did not make it to the medal rounds, but ranked among the top 16 in a field of elite contesters.
