TeamNL (Bobsleigh)                                                                                                                             
The men’s crew for Vancouver 2010, sponsored by DSM, consisted of 5 athletes:

  • Timothy Beck (1977) from Assen
  • Sybren Jansma (1982) from Groningen
  • Arno Klaassen (1979) from Tilburg
  • Arnold van Calker (1976) from Slochteren
  • Edwin van Calker (1979) from Groningen
 		   

With Edwin van Calker as their pilot, these athletes formed the 2-men and 4-men bob team.

In the season prior to the Vancouver Winter Olympics, the team achieved their best result ever in St. Moritz during the World Cup, finishing in 3rd place

During the Vancouver Winter Olympics, TeamNL was at the centre of attention, when both the national and international press was amazed by the progress made by the Dutch team and their innovative new TopBob.
