Stanyl® meets vehicle life time durability requirements of more than 800,000 km for signal lamp bases at 200°C making it ideal for automotive lighting components like:

• Lamp fittings
• Sockets
• Connectors

The high stiffness and strength of Stanyl, maintained even at 200°C, coupled with its high creep resistance delivers precise positioning of lamps within the reflector for the life of the vehicle. Stanyl withstands high speed assembly techniques without part breakage to reduce lost production and provide higher production capabilities.

 

Material Solutions 

• Stanyl TW241F6 and Stanyl Diablo OCD2100 produce high quality lamp sockets that are more cost effective than PPA, PPS, or PEI.
• Stanyl TW341delivers toughness (EAB 40%) and low out-gassing (<200°C) for automotive lighting connectors.
