Bearing cages and thrust washers

Stanyl® offers stiffness and good creep behavior at high temperatures (140°C) for bearing cages and thrust washers. When molded out of Stanyl these parts are resistant to a wide range of chemical environments and high temperatures.

Material solutions

• Stanyl TW200F6, and TW200F8 offer excellent wear performance with low friction metal replacement solutions for thrust washers that are situated in the differential where during acceleration high compressive loads and friction occur.
• Stanyl delivers best in class mechanical properties, combined with the high stiffness, good fatigue performance, and ductility at high and low temperatures that translates into high quality parts with reduced noise, vibration, and harshness.
• Stanyl TQ300F5, TW200F6, and Akulon S223-HPG5 (PA6) offer resistance to oils and stiffness at high temperatures for bearing cages that are applied in automatic transmission boxes. Akulon S223-HPG5 is the only material certified for high-speed train wheel bearing cages.
