Dipped fiber applications

Superior mechanical properties at elevated temperatures: 80 ~ 250 °C

Superior Dimensional
Stability Low Shrinkage,
Low creep
High Melting Point
Excellent Adhesion to Rubber
High Toughness
Shorter Rubber Curing Times
Superior Hydrolytic resistance

This gives a yarn in Stanyl the best performance profile for demanding (rubber) reinforcement applications such as tyres, v-belts and hoses. The pay-off is in the in-use functionality of the reinforced rubber parts, and also during part production, where higher curing temperatures, and/or lower shrinkage can lead to better dimensional stability and/or higher production efficiency.

Suitable applications are

¤ cap plies
¤ v-belts
¤ reinforced hoses
