Industrial
Fibers
Stanyl® KS411 is a dedicated Stanyl grade for fiber spinning that is a cost effective high melting temperature yarn for dipped fiber applications and performance industrial fibers.
Dipped fiber applications can rely on Stanyl
A yarn in Stanyl offers the best performance profile for demanding (rubber) reinforcement applications like cap plies, v-belts, and reinforced hoses. The pay-off is in the in-use functionality of the reinforced rubber parts, and also during part production, where higher curing temperatures, and/or lower shrinkage can lead to better dimensional stability and/or higher production efficiency. This performance is possible due to the superior mechanical properties of Stanyl at elevated temperatures (80 ~ 250°C) as well as its:
- superior dimensional stability
- low shrinkage & creep
- high melting point & toughness
- excellent adhesion to rubber
- shorter rubber curing times
- superior hydrolytic resistance

Stanyl brings performance solutions for industrial fibers
Stanyl monofilaments have a higher modulus than PA66 and offer better resilience, abrasion resistance, and durability for industrial fibers turn to Stanyl for options like co-mingled yarns with carbon fiber for thermoplastic composites and airbag sewing thread for higher temperature resistance and increased safety.
