Clinical Research
Proven efficacy
-
Over 20 human clinical studies have been conducted with dairy peptides over
the past 10 years to demonstrate their blood pressure lowering effect.
-
A recent human clinical study using TensGuard™ has shown a statistically
significant reduction of systolic* and diastolic blood pressure by 3.8
and 2.3 mmHg, respectively, in people with mild hypertension.
-
No adverse effects have been reported in any of the human trials conducted
over the past ten years. There was no detectable reduction in blood pressure
in individuals with normal blood pressure.
* There are two measures for blood pressure, the first being systolic
blood pressure; this is the pressure the blood exerts on the arteries when the
heart beats. The second measure is diastolic pressure; this is the pressure
the blood exerts on the arteries when the heart relaxes between beats.
