Arnite: Polyester that really performs

Arnite® is our thermoplastic for E&E applications that comes in two formats: Arnite A (Polyethylene terephthalate, PET) and Arnite T (Polybutylene Terephthalate, PBT). Thanks to its excellent mechanical performance, heat resistance and dimensional stability, this material is used in everything from electronics to electricals.

Arnite A

Our Arnite A outperforms PBT in both mechanical and heat performance while also offering better dimensional stability. Its toughness makes Arnite the ideal choice for electrical applications like low-voltage switchgears, bobbins, and lamp holders.

Arnite T

Our Arnite T is an extremely versatile high-performance thermoplastic with a wide range of grades. It’s also halogen-free, which provides a major boost for E&E manufacturers looking for a sustainable solution.

Arnite T is mechanically strong with good dimensional stability, and heat-resistance. Arnite T also offers good processing characteristics. It’s easy to mold, has good wear resistance and very good color stability.

This material is increasingly being used in the highly regulated world of white goods connectors. We offer halogen-free, flame-retarded grades.
