DSM showcases healthier breakfast options at FiE 2017
At this year’s Food Ingredients Europe, DSM will highlight its range of nutritional and functional ingredients that contribute to health and wellness for more people around the world, with a special spotlight on better breakfasts at home and on-the-go.
According to DSM’s research, more than 60% of consumers are choosing to reduce the amount of sugar they consume in their dairy products. To reduce sugar in dairy applications, DSM has an enzyme- and culture-based concept on offer. With the help of Maxilact®, the sweetness that is naturally present in dairy products can be doubled, creating a preferred sweet taste with less or no added sugar. DSM cultures provide enhanced taste and texture. Visitors to the FiE can see and taste for themselves a sugar reduction in flavored yogurt of up to 20% without adding sweeteners.
Furthermore, the latest trends in coloration will be brought to life on the stand, with a bespoke wall map dedicated to the topic – revealing the leading hues by application.
