DSM releases Dyneema Purity Radiopaque fiber

Sep 2014 – DSM announced recently the launch of its new product, Dyneema Purity Radiopaque Fiber. Designed to aid in the creation of medical devices for use in orthopedic trauma, the new fiber contains a radiopacifier, which allows it to be visible in X-ray images. The Dyneema Purity Radiopaque Fiber is purported to be the world’s only ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) medical fiber, according to a company press release. More>
