Complete high temperature air duct solutions providing productivity and performance gains

For both flexible clean air and rigid hot air ducting, we offer solutions based on superior performance and higher productivity resins that can lower part costs up to 30%. As a major supplier in the two main materials used for air ducts, PA6 and TEEE, we are uniquely positioned to provide complete solutions for ducting systems. With Stanyl®, extreme temperatures up to 250ºC as found on large engines can be accommodated.

Arnitel® processes faster and lowers weight further

Arnitel® can be designed with thinner wall sections for a given flexibility than other materials. Faster cycling also reduces processing cost and total part costs can be lowered by as much as 30%. Further benefits are better acoustic damping (by up to 10%) and easier mirror welding.

Using Arnitel® allows simpler designs and processing. Functions, including the flexible coupling, can be integrated into one-piece flexible constructions

Akulon® offers increased productivity advantages

With its extremely high melt stability, Akulon® allows blow-molded rigid ducting to be made longer and thinner. The broader profile for each grade means that a reduced number of grades meets most ducting needs, simplifying inventory management. Cost benefits exceeding 10% are typical.

Stanyl® extends the capabilities of thermoplastics.
For large or high compression engines, temperatures can often peak around 250ºC. Stanyl® has the temperature/stiffness profile to cope with these demands. Injection molded parts, welded to form ducts, meet the specifications for durability and reliability.
