Communicating with standardization committees enables DSM to stay up-to-date
with industry leaders like Philips, Dell, Intel, and Sony, on emerging
developments in the industry. This provides opportunities to identify shared
areas of concern and develop a coordinated response to reach the best outcome
for all involved parties.
Application development in the electrical and electronics market is
continuously changing, which requires a supplier that can anticipate those
changes and work with you to quickly develop competitive solutions. At DSM,
changes to standards and performance levels in the industry are monitored to
determine what the new challenges will be.
DSM is a member of STP 746 (Standards Technical Panel). STP members can review
industry bulletins, attend standards development meetings, vote, and comment
on standards updates and revisions.
We actively work with our customer’s development organizations to understand
what's happening in the electrical and electronic market. We continuously
evaluate where we can offer innovation early in the developmental phase.
