As a result of continued escalations in the costs of key raw materials, DSM Engineering Plastics will increase the price of the following product line compounds and resins effective for all orders shipped on or after October 24, 2011. The specific increase is as follows:

Arnitel ® resins and compounds +$0.12 per pound
Akulon® 66 compounds +$0.10 per pound
Nylatron ® resins and compounds +$0.25 per pound
Arnite ® PBT compounds +$0.15 per pound
While DSM Engineering Plastics continues to pursue and implement cost savings initiatives targeted at absorbing the impact of the raw material escalations, this additional increase is necessary to ensure DSM Engineering Plastics’ sustainable long-term growth.
