Genomics DNA Microarrays

DNA micro-arrays are an important tool in genomics, allowing genome-wide transcription profiling. DSM is one of the founding fathers of the Amsterdam Micro-Array Division (MAD), together with among others the University of Amsterdam. The MAD provides facilities for the whole DNA microarray process such as, for example, the design, preparation and analysis of DNA microarrays and a number of Bio-IT tools. The MAD is the current source of DNA microarrays for DSM's needs.
