DSM invests in 'green' polymer from CO2
DSM Venturing, the
corporate venturing unit of Royal DSM N.V., today announced that it has made
an investment in Novomer Inc. The companies also plan to sign a cooperation
agreement. Financial details of the investment will not be disclosed.

a financing round in Ganeden Biotech, Inc., a US probiotics company which

that it has made an equity investment of EUR 2 million in Jurilab Oy, a
Finnish company specialized in the discovery of gene-disease associations and
their application to healthcare.

DSM invests in food freshness device company
DSM Venturing, the
corporate venturing unit of Royal DSM N.V., today announced that it has made
an investment in Food Quality Sensor International Inc. (FQSI). FQSI is a
US-based company which develops and commercializes novel technologies to
detect the freshness levels of perishable foods.

DSM Venturing strengthens its activities in China
As part of DSM's
Vision 2010 - Building on Strengths - strategy programme, DSM is
strengthening the Venturing activities in China to capitalise on the growth
and innovation opportunities in this fast growing economy. Therefore, on July
1st of 2007, Mr. Jinyue Wang has been appointed as DSM Venturing Manager in
China. With the appointment of Mr. Wang an important step has been taken in
making DSM Venturing activities an integral part of DSM's growth strategy in
China.

DSM Venturing invests in funds targeting Health & Wellness and Sustainability
DSM Venturing, the corporate venturing unit of Royal DSM N.V., today announced
its participation in two venture capital funds, the Sherbrooke Health and
Wellness Capital Fund II and the Emerald Sustainability Fund II. By
participating in Sherbrooke DSM specifically creates a window on innovations
in the emerging area of Health & Wellness. The investment in Emerald provides
insight into White Biotechnology-related innovations, trends and markets in
the US and Europe via the fund’s deal flow.

that it has made an equity investment in Harland Medical Systems, Inc., an
emerging US company that is marketing technologies and solutions in medical
coating applications.
