Our Total Quality program puts continuous improvement at the heart of everything we do - using tools like Six Sigma to create solid foundations for success. Our directives are detailed in our Global Management System and are based on ISO/TS 16949:2009 and ISO 9001:2008 standards, including the core tools like Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).
For Novamid in Japan we can develop grades with properties tailor-made for our customers’ needs.
We also offer a sister material - Akulon® polyamide 6 and 66 – globally. We support this through value-added services at every stage of the product lifecycle, including application support (from conceptualization through to troubleshooting) and design & process engineering. And this is all supported by the technologies like Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE).
For DSM, sustainability is a business driver. Our performance materials such as Novamid are helping customers produce smarter, greener, lighter products by replacing conventional metals and inferior plastics – and in turn reducing environmental footprint.
