The Amulix® seed coating products starts life as non-edible, starch-based waste material, which we collect from our trusted suppliers. Over time, we have developed a unique and proprietary processing technology. This innovative solution turns this waste material into a high-performance seed coating to meet the needs of the 21st-century agricultural industry.
By using high binding biodegradable materials, Amulix® ensures a lower dust-off than traditional seed coatings, reducing any environmental or health impact compared to coatings made from oil-based polymer materials, containing additional agents.
Shorter drying process
Amulix® seed coatings require less artificial heating to dry the seeds after coating, which lowers energy consumption and increases production capacity. Furthermore it gives less stress to your seed. At lower application rates the seed come out dry.
Amulix® filmcoated seeds have a smooth surface that enables easy processing and sowing.
Higher seed performance
Due to its natural origin, Amulix® filmcoat has a better synergy with the seed skin. Besides it is compatible with Plant Protection Products, Biologicals and Micro-organisms which you want to apply to your seed. In the end giving a better germination result of your coated seed.
Our bio-degradable bio-based filmcoat products are used to bind conventional or biological crop protection products on vegetable and agricultural seeds and they improve the seed sow ability. In line with circular economy principles, our raw materials are derived from renewable resources. Our high-quality products, which are available in a range of colors, result in better germinating coated seed, a lower dust-off and better total performance. Besides, it does not contribute to micro plastic pollution of soil & water.
Next to standard colors we can also help creating a tailor-made house color for our customers.
We also offer a high performing hybrid technology that is suitable for encrusting and pelleting. This starch-based biopolymer comes in a powder form and has been proven to offer excellent coverage as well as significantly reduced drying times - seeds come out of the process dry or as good as dry.
Amulix® Pigment Paste
For special requests we have pigment pastes that our customers can use in their own formulations to achieve desired color finish. As all our offerings, pigment pastes are also starch based and biodegradable.
