On April 3, 2023 DSM Engineering Materials and Lanxess High Performance Materials joined forces as the new company Envalior. In the coming months, you’ll increasingly see the name DSM Engineering Materials being replaced by the name of our new company Envalior: A brand new engineering materials powerhouse covering performance materials, specialty materials, and intermediates!

Partnering with Bugaboo to launch industry-first stroller portfolio made with bio-based materials

With identical mechanical performance and characteristics to conventional Akulon® grades, our mass-balanced bio-based Akulon® PA6 offers the quality and durability necessary to comply with Bugaboo’s strict safety standards, making it a drop-in substitution while enabling a CO2 reduction of up to 24% per stroller in line with the company’s ambitious ESG targets.

Award-winning wire-harness clips for Ford Bronco Sport made of ocean plastics 

Ford uses wiring harness clips made of ocean-harvested plastic “ghost gear” in Bronco Sport models. Ford testing shows that the Akulon® RePurposed material, despite having spent time in salt water and sunlight, is as strong and durable as petroleum-based clips.
